Air Con Again

Have had the compressor replaced again b :blink: y fords but this time the revs at idle speed are up and down when the climate is on . Any help will be helpfully.

If the compressor is cutting out and in, then the pressure in the system is too high or to low due to not filling it correctly.

Is that not likely to wreck the belt if the resistance is that great??

Are you sure there is a problem? As the air-con cuts in, it puts a load on the engine and the rpm will blip downwards until the idle stabilises again. As the air-con cuts out, the idle speed will blip upwards. It depends on how frequently it cuts in and out under the control of the Climate Unit as to whether there is a problem.
